AvaSoft 8.9.2.0 Release

Appeldorn, The Netherlands— February 26, 2019, Avantes is excited to announce the release of the AvaSoft 8.9.2.0 software update as well as updates to our AvaSpec DLL and Linux libraries.

Positive Customer Impact

In addition to advances to Ethernet connectivity and stability, this release also provides enhancements to the saving features in experiment files as well as for the periodic saving of merged spectral files. Users will also appreciate the new 3D mode for making custom reflectance measurements using a calibrated standard.

Update Availability

The update is an update driven by customer feedback and is part of Avantes’ commitment to supporting the scientists and industries that rely on Avantes spectrometers. The update is available for immediate download at https://www.avantes.com/support/software. Website registration is required for download.

New DLL and Linux Library

To support a variety of new detectors, for customers that write their own software, Avantes has released the new AvaSpec-DLL version v9.8.1.0.  The DLL also includes a Linux library and includes sample programs in Labview, Matlab, C#, C++, Visual Studio, Python QT and Delphi.  The DLL is available for 32 and 64 bit operating systems.  For more information about obtaining the latest version of the DLL, please contact Avantes at [email protected] or [email protected].
