Avantes USA 2025 Summer Intern!
Introducing Daisy Freeman!
Avantes USA is excited to welcome its Summer 2025 intern, a rising senior at Lehigh University studying Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Energy Engineering. Originally from Louisville, Colorado, she discovered her passion for engineering while attending Centaurus High School—just down the road from Avantes’ U.S. office. She was particularly drawn to this internship because of its strong focus on engineering design and hands-on experience with CAD. Eager to contribute, she looks forward to working on a variety of projects and deepening her understanding of spectroscopy during her time with the company.
Outside the Office:
When she’s not working, Daisy loves spending time outdoors—whether it’s hiking, camping, swimming, or skiing, she’s always up for an adventure in the Colorado sunshine. She’s already climbed eight of the state’s iconic 14ers and hopes to summit even more this summer. At home, Daisy enjoys baking sweet treats, diving into a good book, and relaxing with her dogs.
