Background
Chris brings 12 years of experience in commercial scientific instrumentation, with a background spanning technical sales, applications, field service, and product management. Throughout his career, he has developed a reputation for creating exceptional customer experiences and approaching every challenge with a natural curiosity for experimental design.
Born in South Korea into a military family and raised in Colorado Springs, Chris has called several cities home, including Denver, Phoenix, Philadelphia, and Tampa, before returning to his home state of Colorado. He studied analytical chemistry at the University of Colorado and Arizona State University and values every opportunity to learn from the people he meets along the way. Chris is excited to help customers solve their R&D and QC challenges through creativity, practical problem-solving, and sound fundamental science.
Chris Outside of the Office
Outside of work, Chris spends much of his time following the ever-changing interests of his two tweenage daughters—from Roblox and digital art to nature, music, sports, and friendships (and, of course, more Roblox). He also enjoys cooking authentic Korean food, skiing, golfing, playing basketball, visiting comedy clubs, traveling, and cheering on his beloved 49ers during football season.
Chris stays active in Colorado’s local art and music scene, produces music at home with his daughters, and attends concerts whenever he can. When he’s not out exploring, you’ll likely find him working on projects around his house or relaxing with his dog and two cats.
