Avantes is excited to announce our presence at booth 29 during the upcoming Rocky Mountain Summit and Expo hosted by the Colorado Photonics Industry Association (CPIA). Our General Manager, Damon Lenski, will be in attendance, serving as the CPIA president. Now entering its third year, the Summit and Expo has established itself as the premier photonics-focused event in Colorado. This year, the organizers aim to expand participation from the Rocky Mountain region, including New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming, by inviting more speakers, exhibitors, and attendees.
The event caters to industry professionals and offers a platform for both commercial exhibitions and technical sessions, focusing on key sectors such as aerospace, semiconductor, and life sciences. With around 30-40 exhibiting companies specializing in photonics technologies and services, attendees can explore a diverse range of offerings. Technical sessions delve into the latest advancements in technologies like lasers, sensors, and spectrometers, along with their applications across various industries.
CPIA will host a plenary session and lunch at the beginning of the event, followed by a happy hour at the end of the day. Located in Westminster, a suburb of the Denver metropolitan area, the venue provides easy access for attendees from across the state’s major photonics hubs. Typically, the event attracts a crowd of 300-400 attendees, making it a significant gathering for professionals in the field.
