Introducing Kurt Ameku

Originally from Lincoln, Nebraska, Kurt moved to the Denver area at the beginning of August, 2022. He graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, a minor in Mathematics, and a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics. As the newest member of Avantes Inc., he is excited to apply his knowledge, skills, and experience to his Customer Support & Applications Engineer role. While it’s only been a month since he joined the Avantes he has already learned a great deal of technical information on both the hardware and software sides of spectrometers and is eager to continue to grow in his new position

Kurt Outside of Work

Kurt has a vibrant life outside of work. He thoroughly enjoys video games and currently is on a Minecraft kick! In his free time, enjoys listening to music, playing various musical instruments, golfing,  and building Lego sets with his girlfriend.
